Privacy notice

This notice explains what we do with the details you give us on healthuk.health, who sees them, where they are stored and what your rights are.

Who we are

HealthUK is the UK Health Hub, a hub in the YEKai care network. It is an independent coordination hub. It is not a healthcare provider and is not part of the NHS. HealthUK is operated by A1 OMNI CHANNEL LTD (trading as YEKai.), 8B Accommodation Road, Golders Green, London NW11 8ED. You can contact us about this notice at info@healthcy.health.

What we collect

Please do not send medical information through the forms on this website. You share records and documents inside the patient portal, after you have created your account.

Why we use your details

We use your details to create your patient account, email you an activation code, and contact you about your account and your shortlist. We rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the sign-up form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Who sees your details

We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Where your details are stored

The patient portal and its records are hosted by YEKai on a server in Cyprus. When you sign up on this website, your details pass through our website host and our email provider on their way to the portal. Both are based in the United States and may handle your details outside the UK and Cyprus. Your shortlist is also kept in your own browser, on your device.

How long we keep them

We keep your sign-up details while your account is open, and for as long as the law requires afterwards. If you ask us to delete your details and we are allowed to, we will.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, ask us to limit or stop using them, ask for them in a portable format, and object to how we use them. Email info@healthcy.health and we will reply in writing.

If you are not happy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy). We would like the chance to put things right first, so please see our complaints page.

We will update this page if we change how we use your details, and show the date at the top.
